A full redesign: available 481 hp and 501 lb-ft from the new 6.6L V8, up to 13,500 lbs of available max trailering, and over 60 inches of combined digital displays.
Starting MSRP $39,300 per GMC as of October 2026. Preproduction models shown on gmc.com.
GMC lists the 2025 and 2026 Sierra HD on its site; no 2027 Sierra 2500HD or 3500HD details are published yet.
The 2026 Sierra HD: Pro from $47,300 starting MSRP, available max towing of 36,000 lbs, and the available Duramax with 470 hp.
Elevation from $70,200 starting MSRP with the 5.3L V8, up to Denali Ultimate at $104,800. Available 6.2L V8 and Duramax 3.0L turbo-diesel, up to 8,400 lbs of max trailering.
Super Cruise is available across the line and standard on Denali.
GMC shows only the 2026 Canyon on its site today. We will update the Canyon page the day 2027 details are published.
The 2026 Canyon: Elevation from $38,900 starting MSRP, a standard 310-hp TurboMax engine, and up to 7,700 lbs of max trailering.
Elevation from $43,900 starting MSRP, AT4 $52,700, Denali $58,900, Denali Ultimate $63,400. A 2.5L turbo with 328 hp and 326 lb-ft, up to 5,000 lbs of max trailering, and seating for up to 8.
Super Cruise available; standard on Denali Ultimate.

There is no single answer across the lineup, because the six models are in three different places this fall.
If the model you want is on the lot as a 2027, the question is only price and equipment. Compare a 2027 against any remaining 2026 on the same trim; our one-price sticker makes that a two-minute job.
The 2027 Sierra 1500 is a next-generation truck, so waiting buys real changes: new V8s, new interiors, more screen. A 2026 Sierra 1500 in stock today is the proven truck at a known price. Both are good answers; they are different answers.
GMC has not released 2027 details for either. A 2026 Sierra HD or Canyon is the current truck with current incentives, and nothing published today argues for holding off.
