Sierra 1500 AT4
The Sierra 1500 AT4 is the benchmark for off-road-capable full-size trucks in Florida. Standard equipment includes a 2-inch factory lift, Rancho monotube shocks, skid plates, and Hill Descent Control. Available AT4X adds MultiMatic DSSV dampers and an electronic limited-slip rear differential for serious off-road performance. What's the difference between AT4 and AT4X?
AT4 is GMC's base off-road package — skid plates, off-road suspension, Autotrac transfer case, and all-terrain tires. AT4X adds a more aggressive off-road tune: MultiMatic DSSV dampers (on Sierra 1500), an electronic locking rear differential, an exclusive front bumper for better approach angles, and additional underbody protection. AT4X is available on Sierra 1500 and Sierra HD.
Is AT4 the same as Denali in terms of luxury?
No — they serve different purposes. Denali is GMC's premium luxury trim, focused on interior refinement, exclusive styling, and technology. AT4 is the off-road performance package, focused on capability. The AT4X Ultimate combines both, but it's a different buyer profile. If you want the most luxurious GMC, Denali. If you want the most capable, AT4 or AT4X.
