Went very smoothly

I was just under my truck & noticed that none of my Grease fittings have been lubed, this is the 2nd oil change that I have had at rivard & looks like they have never been lubed!!! The lube bladders look to be empty, I do not think grease has ever been put in them???

Truck wasn’t full of fuel or def. Windows aren’t clean but was left where I could pick up after hours so that’s good.

Enzo was great about keeping me updated about my service and specifically about whether I’d need a new tire or a patch and later on whether I wanted the master tech to do a deep dive that would take an additional few hours after the oil, filter, tire rotation and tire patch were wrapped up. He explained the new recommended oil additive clearly as well.

Impact $1116 for a service that did not fix the problem.

Service advisor was fantastic. I was disappointed there was a heavy dirt/grease on the door handle, side of the door, on the steering wheel, the radio had been changed to a vulgar song on 94.1 FM and the air conditioning had been changed, adjusted and from interior recycle to outside air. How much time does a technician spend in the cab of a truck to repair a screw in the tire. I'm due for an oil change in the near future and considering going to a dealer other than Rivard.

I picked out 2 trucks posted on the website I wanted to look at prior to stopping. Ronell was the salesman whom asked could he help me. Told what 2 trucks I wanted to see to which one was there and the other was still in transit (I missed that information on the website). Ronell looked for a replacement but they didn't have any with similar features. We went out to look at the one they had. Before even getting to the truck Ronell could already tell that the one I thought I wanted was the one he didn't have. He never once tried to pressure me to go with what he had even though I really liked it. After seeing it I asked him to put together the numbers on it. This was the my 12th time purchasing a new vehicle and was by far the quickest and easiest I have ever done so. I can't speak for any of the other salesmen but mine was top notch. When I picked it up the next day, truck was cleaned and full of fuel when I arrived, just swap the tag and my personal items over.

Had a check engine light on. I stopped by the day before and they checked the codes and gave me an appointment for the next morning. The advisor, Logan, asked me to just wait in the lounge for a bit instead of going home. They checked out the vehicle and repaired it in less than 2 hours. What's not to like. This is not the first vehicle we have purchased through Rivard. The ease of working with Miguel Alvarez is just amazing. We have to travel to get to the dealership so working with him over the phone was very important to us. I t took some time to sort through all of the inventory, but we found what we were looking for. It has again been a refreshing experience to deal with Miguel and the people at Rivard. I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a GMC or Buick to look into Rivard and talk to Miguel.

The last two service visits to Rivard Buick have been the worst dealership experience that I've ever had. Our Envision is only driven occasionally as there was less than 9,000 miles as of this visit. The last service was on 12/11/24 during which a LOF and a software update were performed. This took more than five (5!) hours. The service last week for only a LOF was over three hours! Horrible, Horrible, Horrible service!

Amazing prices listed right on the website. No haggle needed. Most of the sale was done via text message and online, which was super easy. The car was delivered to my house in Southeast Florida. Great communication. Seamless transaction. I told another dealership that I was going to Rivard and they said negative things about Rivard (such as prices are so low it’s a fake deal). well it wasn’t fake and I got my car. Stress free.

Timely and thorough

Went to dealer twice. First time I waited with an appointment 4 hours my car was still in line for service I withdrew and left. Second time was only 2 hours that was OK. However they didn't inflate the tires or fill washer fluid. I don't know if they rotated the tires or not. This was my worst experience thru 4 cars at this dealer. Im giving a lot of thought for my next car.

The overall customer experience was terrible. When trying to reach someone to inquire about what vehicle is available, the representatives do not allow you to make it to a sales agent. When you finally make it to a sales agent, the sales rep has no idea what is in stock. My experience with John Robertson was terrible! I was almost sold the wrong vehicle. I finally had to order the correct vehicle. Upon ordering, I was never informed that vehicle must be taken off the lot within a specified timeframe. The sales person failed to inform me. When the vehicle finally arrived, I was threatened that the vehicle would be sold to someone else if I did not pick up by EOD of month/end of quarter. I'm assuming the sales team was trying to hold me hostage to their sales quota. When I arrived to pick up the vehicle, the loan paperwork was incorrect. I had left a voicemail and email for the sales manager, Justin, and he ignored this important informed on the discrimination in the amounts leading to a back and forth on the buyer's order and subsequent documents. The new sales guy, Tony, failed to show me the vehicle highlights (pairing of Bluetooth, connection with OnStar, buttons, accessories or overall how the vehicle works). When you are paying over $80k on a vehicle, I expect a better customer experience! I am not going to share this publicly, but I should. I would not want others to go through the same experience I did.

I contacted the Internet Sales to inquire about a specific GMC Sierra 1500 SLT. We agreed that I would come in on Friday, October 10th to test drive the truck. When I have done this in the past with other dealerships, they had a as salesperson assigned and the vehicle was up front, washed and ready for the test drive. None of that occurred by the time I arrived at the dealership. I was travelling from 100 miles away and at a minimum, I expected the Internet Sales team to connect me with a salesperson. They were aware I was on the road and knew my expected arrival time because we were exchanging text messages as I was travelling to the dealership. The sales process went pretty much as expected. There was nothing good or bad that occurred with the process. Rivard failed miserably when it came to delivering the vehicle. I didn't receive the truck until 4 hours after I had agreed to the purchase. For the purportedly the number 1 dealership in Florida, I feel this is totally unacceptable. I have purchased several cars in my lifetime and this was the first time the car wasn't ready when I completed the sales paperwork. It took Rivard another 3 hours to deliver the car once the paperwork was signed. During that time, I received virtually no updates as to when the truck would be delivered and nothing was offered to me during that time. There was still trash in the truck bed and dirt on the floormats once I finally received the vehicle. Be prepared to wait if you buy a vehicle from Revard.

everything was fine until I discovered my def fluid was almost empty and I was told as part of the first service the DEF Fluid would be filled .

My car was in for regular maintenance, oil change and tire rotation. In addition, the car had started running somewhat rough the week prior as mentioned to my advisor. They ran diagnostics, drove it - yet found nothing wrong. I was offered to have a foreman ride with me although I saw no point in it. It is still running like there is a drag to it, perhaps rough is not the term to use. I also have my doubts as to whether the tires were rotated as the car info system lists the same tire pressure as when I brought it in. Your service department has always been tip top, however, it is much too busy anymore. Perhaps don't take so many appointments at a time?

This was the first service for the vehicle. It was supposed to be picked up and a courtesy car dropped off. Vehicle was picked up - no courtesy vehicle provided Vehicle was supposed to be cleaned upon return - Was not cleaned and had DEF remnant stains (dried white liquid) running down the side of the truck. Overall what was told to me about the service behind the initial work; courtesy car, wash, prompt service - none of this happened. The service manager called me once my vehicle was delivered asking where I was in the waiting room and what they were supposed to be doing for a service - all of this after the dealership picked up my vehicle and took it in - knowing exactly what they were supposed to be servicing. Overall a lack of communication internally and lack of satisfactory service will lead me to have all service performed elsewhere.

We were told 1-1.25 hrs. Took 2+ a bit. Both Sunday and today, we woke to almost a flat tire. It had been damaged in your service dept. Not the correct psi cap, and rim damaged. We have pics and husband calling today. Extremely disappointed with your service dept.

Waiting time more than they told us, it was supposed to be an hour and got the car back almost 2 hours for an oil change. Also once driving the navigation system is off and unable to use it.

Had service on the GMC Acadia for an antenna replacement do to the radio stopping and not having a signal, this has been going on for sometime, based on the diagnosis the issue was the antenna. Since the antenna replacement the radio had stopped twice and lost signal, this was on Saturday morning 10/25/25 driving on the causeway, it eventually came back on and no issues at this time

Alex was wonderful to work with, he responded quickly to all my inquiries and was always available to assist. Based on my interactions with Alex alone, I would give him 5 out of 5. However, my experience was significantly impacted when I received my truck. Upon picking up the vehicle, I noticed it had not been detailed at all. There was significant dust inside, a dent on the hood, paint chips on the side door, sticker glue on the window, the truck had not been washed, and there were minor scratches on the hood, likely from improper cleaning. For a brand new truck with an MSRP of around $64,000 and only 5 miles on it, I expected it to be in pristine condition. I am now waiting for an appointment to have these issues addressed, but the lack of attention to detail when handing over a new vehicle diminished my excitement and overall experience. I expected better from GMC and Rivard, and hope future costumers receive the level of care that matches the quality of the vehicle being sold.

Iwas told the vehicle had acoustic glass. That is why I selected this vehicle. It does not. Park Assist was not functional on purchase and tires were out of balance. Sales personnel did not know how to instruct me on operation of SuperCruise and Recording capability. Paperwork on day of purchase had to be redone about 5 times which delayed my trip back to Tallahassee. Salesman has not followed up since purchase on some information requested.

I arrived for my appointment at 7:30 (scheduled time was 9:00. April Connor was my service advisor and she explained that this appointment was for the recall issued on my vehicle. I asked her to check on warranty repair for the telematics that I came in for about six weeks earlier and had been told the parts were on back order. She checked to it and found that the replacement part was in stock and had this work completed as well. I was back on the toad at 9:30.

I had my vehicle towed there, all the lights, music, and AC would come on but wouldn’t start. The back wheels locked up after the tow guy finally got the truck to crank. Logan told me my truck needs a battery and that would be $445. I told him to do the recall as that’s what it was supposed to have been there for anyway. But due to the issues I had it towed there. I was able to drive it off the lot, I bought a battery and my truck still won’t start. There has to be a mechanical/ electrical issue. I’m not happy that I perhaps got the wrong diagnostics. Spending money I literally do not have when my warranty would cover all, but my battery.

From the moment I walked in to the time I left there was no pressure. I have been to other dealerships (both morgan automotive) and the second I walk into their service center I am instantly told "THIS WILL BE A $99 FEE JUST TO LOOK AT IT!". Not once was that shoved down my throat nor was I given the song and dance about how my warranty works when I didnt ask for it. the no pressure and calm demenor was so appreiciated it even has made me want to shop at this location for my next truck. thank you guys so much for being normal in a choatic world. I've already told so many of my truck friends how great of an experience it was for me.

When I got there the lines of vehicles was long. I waited in my truck a few minutes (about 10) and someone came out and ask me to all the way back to the end of the first and he would meet me there. He did, took my truck information and promised 1 and 1/2 hour . It was exactly that.

We recently had our new Enclave in the shop for minor defects in the paint from manufacture noticed during purchase and the entire experience was seamless and stress free. The maintenance department were absolutely wonderful! Highly recommend!

My brakes went out suddenly while driving in my three year old GMC Yukon Denali. Scary and not a good experience. Very strange. Logan took great care of me and got the vehicle repaired quickly. However, my concern is with GMC and why I was suddenly put in a dangerous position while driving and was told "the software needed to be updated." Not satisfactory in my book.

A 2 hour estimated time turned into 5 1/2 hours. I was then over charged asking questioning the amount. Got home and looked at the estimate and I was correct. Then had to call for refund. I had a 10:00 appointment and left at around 3:30. Customer waiting with me had an 8:00 appointment for an oil change. He left around 2-2:30. Love buying vehicles there but needs a lot of improvements on service. I won’t go back there again for service. Sorry, wish I could say better.

Worst experience I have ever had at a dealership! Bought a brand new 2026 GMC Sierra 1500 as soon as I get it home and was going out to dinner with the wife the truck doesn’t want to start, I reached out to sales man and he said he would get with the service manager and they would call me asap! I said this is ridiculous for a brand new truck and I either wanted another new truck or my old truck back, well…. I have been in contact with the sales guy for 2 weeks now every day and I still haven’t received a call about the new truck having issues, I have sent countless texts and videos of what the truck is doing! Nothing has been done!! Unbelievable!!! Every day this brand new truck is having trouble starting! I will be climbing the ladder about this situation, and will also be sharing my experience countless pictures, videos & texts!

Had to wait almost 3 hours for oil change. I made a appointment for 10 am left at 1pm.

I visited the service department with a problem. They explained that I needed to replace the thermostat and housing, that the part would cost $190.00 and the labor $1,300 because it was a full day's work and involved replacing about six seals. In the end, it was only a rubber washer that needed replacing, and it took only an hour and a half to fix. I think that the honesty and transparency of dealerships needs to improve greatly. They don't have to lie to do business. I would never do business with this dealer again. 😳😠😤😡

Picked unit up in the dark driving home on the highway noticed that the tire monitor said Tire it was low also the windshield had some sort of film on it hard to see out after checking the tires the next day found that all four were low on air air pressure was never checked and found the front driver's Tire had a screw in it it had the lowest pressure of them all now I have a brand new vehicle that will have a patched Tire I don't believe they want to give me a new tire I don't believe anybody should be driving around a new car with a patch Tire also in the daylight able to look at the interior there were some sort of crumbs and all the seats unit had never been vacuumed out and the glove box also had trash in it the rear seats have some sort of mild staining that can only be seen in sunlight this was a demo unit with 3,000 miles on it but I believe I was told that it was going to get a full detail the lower plastic panels are spotty and their light scratches in the corner of the hood although having a tire that has a patch on it is the thing that will bother me the most and I'll have to live with it if they don't want to replace it but it will be on my mind the whole time I own the car wondering if the tire will ever go bad from a small broken cord I don't believe this is something a new customer with a new vehicle should worry about

THE PERSON WHO ASSISTED ME IN SERVICE AND MAINTENANCE DEPARTMENT DID NOT OFFER ME A VEHICLE FOR MY DAILY USE.

This service appointment was a perfect example of what’s wrong with customer-facing service roles today. To be clear, this review is not about April, the service advisor. April was great and genuinely tried to expedite the process. The issue lies with the undertrained staff who booked the appointment. I was told the service would take 1 to 2 hours at most for a simple procedure. However, upon arrival, I was informed I should plan to leave my vehicle because the service could take all day. Due to the distance I traveled, that wasn’t an option. Even so, April did her best to get me back on the road within two hours. Unfortunately, I still ended up waiting 3 hours and 30 minutes. Bottom line: respect your customers’ time. I had to cancel scheduled work meetings because I was given incorrect information, and that’s unacceptable.

This is in response to the recently serviced vehicles, 2021 GMC Acadia Denali, 2017 GMC Sierra, The 2017 Sierra serviced for wind shield wipers continuously coming on when starting the vehicle, after a few attempts to repair and correct the issue I still have the issue, they come on not every time but at least 1, 2 x's sometimes more throughout the week, this results in the wipers scrapping the window and leaving like scratch marks on windows wearing down the blades. The second issue is the radio, XM, had it serviced for stop playing causing an interruption in listening, the radio would speed up in listening, cause reverb sound, have a battering sound, static, on off stop, had it serviced and still have the same issue, however not as often, however it still occurs , very aggravating. I have even recorded the issue and sent it to the customer service rep that handles and works with me. This occurs listening to music not the news station, not AM/FM at least not yet. I have spent thousands of dollars in total for service that is not of satisfactory . I have called on each instance after service, but haven't been given a bring it in so we can correct, what's said is when your in the area bring it in so we can run another diagnostics. Like I mentioned the parts are either not up to standard or the tech isn't up to the service on how to correct the issue, sorry but what else can be said, you tell me then what it might be, this has been going on for some time now, it's on you to fix and correct the issues that I have dearly paid for. All the BS and stress I put up with and being patient regarding this is at my end, how would you feel perhaps maybe some of us have been there and you understand I enjoy being a customer of Rivard however I'm sorry enough is enough, I've been a customer for Rivard for over 33 years, a preferred customer and it's like this is not of importance, it's not a good feeling coming in and feeling that your being played taken advantage of, excuses, I've had it. It's not a comfortable feeling, Now the Denali... The same with the Denali the customer service rep is aware of the issues with out going deep into detail, those are minor compared to the truck, but the issues need attention. I'm taken back by this and feel, not too good, I want like every customer wants that does business with Rivard, is to be treated with respect and having the issues they deal with resolved, that's it. We had an appointment for recall service made several days in advance. After waiting a full day for our car to be serviced, the agent called us to let us know that unfortunately the recall part was not there and so after having the car for a day, they were not able to repair the recall. The next day I called to see if when we make a reservation, the part would be there. The agent on the phone put me on hold and then all of a sudden they said oh wait we have the part here that you need. Would you like to leave the car for us to work on today? I said yes I asked when the car would be ready next. They said 11 AM the next day I went back at 11 AM the next day the car was not ready. Service agent was unavailable another service agent had to help locate the car they located the car and informed us at 12 PM that another 45 minutes would be needed. This required us going back-and-forth to the dealership multiple times to get this repaired so needless to say we were not very happy or pleased with the communication service and or follow-through. after getting the car back and on the way driving home, we attempted to wash the windshield cause the windshield was so dirty and for some unknown reason the windshield washer feature was no longer working and functioning after getting home. I checked the reservoir to make sure there’s plenty of fluid and indeed, there was plenty of fluid somehow someway during the repair I suspect something got disconnected and so now while fixing one thing, they impacted something else so now I have to go back again to get that repaired. This is pretty ridiculous and no, I would not recommend other people to go to your dealership.

I reside in the greater Jacksnville area and heard great things about the Tampa GMC dealerships. I found a truck I wanted online and called the dealership. Since I live 3+ hours away I asked what I needed to do to lock in that truck. A deposit was needed and a deposit was made. As agreed I showed up shortly after opening on Sunday to drive away with a new truck. Only then did I discover that they sold my truck the day prior. They located another and delivered it as compensation but I would have preferred the original arrangement. Stan was great to work with as a sales rep often answering calls when not working. The volume sales model is outstanding with up front pricing and great pricing. I look forward to a future purchase with hopefully outstanding results.

No feed back from my service advisor while it was there. (Edward) I was told when I made the appointment to have a switch replaced under warranty that it would be done that day. My appointment was at 830am. Dropped off at 815. Never heard from them so called at 115 to talk to Ed no answer. Finally got up with him at 315 and got the run around about them being backed up. So I just show up at dealer ship at 520 and they are just getting it done. Still have not heard anything from Ed. No sorry it's late or anything just sign here and you can have your car. He didn't even go get it. Another service advisor went and got it for me.

I walked in and withing a couple of minutes a man named Mr Lee greeted me as he had seen me there before. I needed a few things and Mr. Lee was able to get me to the right places to make that happen. I needed an extension on my temporary tag as my new registration haven't arrive and the receptionist made that happen in short order. I also needed to have a part replaced on my truck and Mr. Ciro took care of that with me having to wait very long at all.

You did not fix or attempt to fix my cruise control which is what I brought the truck in for. You said to make another appointment because it would take 3 days to fix. I had an appointment to fix cruise control and had it there at 7AM. At end of day you did not even look at it. Why even make an appointment? We did not need an oil change 82%, but had it done because we did not want to make another trip. Now I have to go to another dealer to fix cruise control.

Firstly, My name is Benjamin Cesario, 75 years young. I am a loyal Rivard GMC customer that has purchased 3 new vehicles and actually gonna get my fourth one. But about a week or so ago I needed my radio screen repaired on my 2017 Sierra. I found a coupon from Rivard Buick GMC that stated if I apply and receive a GMC rewards Credit card I would receive 250.00 toward any service performed by the Rivard Service Department. that was over 500.00. Before the repair of my Vehicle was scheduled My wife and myself rode to the Service department and spoke to a nice gentleman Named James Gillenwater. We showed him the coupon and he said he had never seen one before and spoke to another adviser and said the coupon was valid. I applied and received the credit card and put my truck in the shop for a radio repair. When repair was completed my wife and myself went to get the vehicle and wrote up the invoice and did not deduct the 250.00 from the total. He said the cashier would handle it. I went to the cashier who had never was never notified of the GMO rewards promotion. She went and talked to someone and came back and said that she could not give us the 250.00 deduction. After that I went to BOB APEL, he's the Service Manager at the dealership. He said that the service department had not been notified about the promotion. Bob now has a copy of the Promotion coupon sent to me by Rivard Buick GMC. He said that the coupon was denied because the QR code on the coupon wasn't scanned properly. Me and my with both tried to scan the code without success so my wife went to the Rewards website and applied for the GMC Rewards Credit Card. When we asked about the card before the repair since no one had any knowledge of it we were not told that it would be declined if QR code wasn't scanned. Bob, the Service Manager called a Rewards manager named Heather and he said she would try to fix the problem. He said he would call me in a couple of days. But he did not attempt to call me so my wife called in and he said he would call in a couple of days. Well, he did not. I consider this False advertisement and Fraud. I am hoping that someone with the Rivard Buick GMC will read this experience and get with BOB APEL, the service manager, who knows all the facts, and doesn't really seem to care about it. I say again, I have been dealing with Rivard for over twenty years and have never ever had a problem. This problem could be easily solved with one phone call. thanks for your time. Not enough space to fill out our bad experience, need to go on Rivards computer, you won’t believe it, eventually they discover it was under warranty, after they told me I owed around $900 , went to pick up car they told me I owed around $10, when I asked what for, it was for a key Bob battery, when I disputed,they found out no battery was installed, did not even mention or offer to help re-program car assessories. Overall you need to have a come to Jesus meeting in that service department, mangers we’re involved too, famous phrase , your car has been assigned to a technician . I have been a long-time supporter of Rivard and this is the second vehicle I have purchased from the dealership. Historically, I have always had positive experiences with both the sales and service departments. Unfortunately, this most recent experience did not meet the high standard I have come to expect. My 2024 2500 AT4 required service for several issues, including a window leak, a line appearing in the rearview camera display, removal of a dent, and a rattle in the steering wheel. As the vehicle was outside of the factory warranty, I had to proceed through my extended warranty, which appeared to create complications during the repair process. While in the shop, I was informed that the tie rods were loose and needed replacement. After approximately three weeks in service and multiple delays, I was able to have my vehicle brought back to me just prior to a planned trip to Atlanta. Unfortunately, the issue with the line in the camera display remains unresolved and will require another service visit. Although there are several GMC dealerships closer to my home in Tarpon Springs, I have consistently chosen Rivard and have remained loyal over the years. I have also referred four friends to Rivard within the past year, all of whom have purchased vehicles from the dealership. Once I return from Atlanta, I am hopeful that we can work together to resolve the remaining issue and restore the level of service I have come to expect from Rivard.
