I was pleased with the deal I made with Steven and when I got there, the paperwork went well and all was a good experience

I didn’t have an appointment so I was a walk in and it didn’t matter, you guys got me without any hassle. Unfortunately the piece for my truck is in back order.

I had a check engine light come on and it showed that it could be the purge valve, I bought the part from Auto Zone and the check engine light did not go out. I took it to Rivard to get it serviced. The shop had my car for 3 days and the issue came back as part incorrectly installed. I paid the cost of the diagnostic fee and took the vehicle to Kelley GMC in Bartow. They advised that this was a know issue ID 4869960 and the ECM was replaced under GMC warranty. Obviously I was charged for something that I should not have been charged for. I would like to get my money back since this was a factory warranty replacement. Just not sure why this was not diagnosed as the issue instead of saying it was my fault.

Brought My car in to have a Tire Monitering system repaired that I had just had repaired two months ago. I was advised that the part had to be ordered but in the process they checked out a whinning sound and I had to have the altinator replaced. Also the Drive chain and water pump will need to be replaced later. After the altinator was repaired I went home and car was making a noise and smelled of oil burning. I brought the car back and It was quickly addressed. However when I got I discoved a large amount of oil on the floor. I brought the car back in and again the situation was quickly addressed and the oil leak was repaired. I am now waiting for the other parts to come in to finish the repairs. Your agent Sam was very helpful addressing my issuews.

Samantha was great to work with always! Communicated the process and was able to get my Yukon fixed and back to me the same day.

Friendly and quick and great service

It was good. There’s a lot of chaos in the service room. There could be some organization in the process of that room. The waiting room needs to be redone. It’s too small and unaccommodating. Other dealerships have significantly more waiting room space with areas for the consumer to work or relax. I was also informed that there’d be a small fee for paying with a credit card. That is a deal breaker for me. No matter of the fee is $2.00 or $200, the dealership needs to absorb this charge. As a business owner myself, I pay these credit card fees and Rivard is much bigger than my business. Maybe not have so many radio commercials and allocate that money to pay for the credit card fees for your consumers?

From the minute the receptionist transferred me to Rick, my car buying experience was a 10/10. Since we weren't able to get to the dealership right away, Rick explained the vehicle hold process, checked in with us leading up to arrival, and helped make our entire duration in the dealership as seamless as possible. We were worried about being in the dealership so long with a one-year-old, but Rick helped expedite the signatures, the payments, and even helped us load the stroller in the back of our new Yukon at the end of the night. We couldn't ask for a better vehicle at a better price, and we couldn't have done it without Rick Lavender! Would recommend him and Rivard GMC a million times over.

Quick service

I live in Lakeland. My car was in service for a faulty thermostat. I got a call Friday afternoon saying my car was ready and y’all gave me a tight window to come pick it up. So I drop everything and drive to Tampa to pick it up. I get back to Lakeland, park it in my garage, and oil and coolant start leaking everywhere. We went to the store to purchase more coolant as my daughter had opening ceremonies the next morning, we pour the coolant in, drive it around the block, and by the time we got back home the coolant was leaking out again. Called the dealership Saturday and they said they’d have it towed to them, but if I wanted a loaner I’d have to go pick it up. I had to bum a ride to and from my daughter’s opening ceremonies, and a ride to go pickup my loaner car. The loaner car y’all gave me was absolute filthy, and had less than a quarter tank of gas. What a way to treat a customer after all you’ve already put me through. Now I have to sit and wait for the call to drive all the way back to Tampa, hoping it’s actually fixed correctly this time. Very disappointed and dissatisfied!! And I’m out a bottle of coolant and wasted gas bumming rides and driving to and from Tampa due to your mistakes and poor service. This has been an absolute nightmare!

The whole process from when I walked in the door until I left was very fast and smooth. My Salesmen Jordan handled everything from test driving my Sierra Denali to signing on the dotted line. He made sure I was back on the road in my new vehicle before the time I told I needed to leave. I would recommend Jordan and Rivard Buick GMC.

My service advisor Samantha was incredible. Lube tech by the name of Luke was horrible he half assed my oil changed and didn’t even fix my tire pressure. Samantha personally fixed the issue even though it wasn’t her job or her mistake.

Your sales team is the best. Hector is amazing. Your service department is the worse. 4 hours for an oil change and tire rotation. Then he comes out and says the problem is they had a hard time programming the key fob and I said ok and then I went in to pay at 3:30 and he said they did not even do the oil change yet??? I had a noon appt. I will never be back. I sent all my guests to you all. Not anymore.

Friday appointment. Didn’t get a status until I called at end of day Monday. On Tuesday I learned the part was on back order with no known delivery date. 2024 model year with 9200 miles. Nothing about this is acceptable considering that the errant part is a known issue. Fix the problem at the source. Don’t make the consumer drive around with a check engine light indefinitely.

Went to Rivard dealership for a last-minute oil change. Enzo was very personable, quick to attend my needs, and had me completed very quickly! It was a pleasure working with him. And I will absolutely request him in the future! I actually drive from Wesley Chapel in order to go to this dealership as I strive for dealing with people that are trustworthy and work hard to give me the best deal possible. Very friendly and fast turnaround on service

Had my backup cameras seal go out causing water to get into it on my 2025 buick encore. They didn't have one in stock but ordered one and gave me a loaner. Called me when it came in and they replaced it. All in all a very pleasant experience.

Service writer Sam was awesome. However, the technician that did my alignment failed at his job. The steering wheel was off center to the left and the vehicle pulled to the right. I notified Sam and she waisted no time getting my vehicle back in the shop for correction to be made. Thanks Sam.

Took 3 days to diagnose a transmission issue. Initially given an estimate of $6200 over the phone then $9400 plus $2500 of additional cost. I had to keep contacting my service advisor to get answers and updates. Will not be using your company again for service needs in the future.

Very easy process. Once I identified the vehicle I wanted, salesman Hiram scheduled everything and I was able to trade in old vehicle and purchase new one within a few hours.

Sent my husband to have the battery replaced as it is 4 years old and sometimes it doesn't start at first. Our last one lasted 4 years. Well your mechanics said the battery was fine and then charged him $200 to check it out. So here we are with an outdated battery which could go at anytime and had to pay what it would have cost to have it replaced. I am not looking forward to having it go dead and have it towed. As the local battery stores won't touch it. This was a rip off. And the nerve of you people charging $30 extra to use a credit card. Hope you go out of business soon.

On March 17, 2025, I took my GMC Yukon in for an oil change and alignment, with an appointment scheduled for 9:30 a.m. I was attended to at 9:35 a.m., and my vehicle was taken for service. However, after a long wait, at 1:15 p.m., I inquired with customer service about the status of my vehicle. The advisor, James Gillenwater, informed me that the vehicle was ready, but that the alignment was not completed because I had waited too long, and that I would receive the alignment free of charge on my next visit. Finally, I left the premises at 1:37 p.m. after waiting over four hours for a service that was not completed. I consider this situation disrespectful and unprofessional toward the customer. My expectation was to receive both services as scheduled, but instead, I lost several hours of my time without the service being completed.

As soon as we walked in (several times) we were greeted. We ultimately worked with Kay and she was awesome. It took over a week to decide and we hammered her with questions throughout that week and she never seemed bothered. We purchased 2 cars from her and are completely satisfied and impressed.

Your service department is fantastic! Easy to schedule, professional courteous staff, and prompt with work. HOWEVER, you need to eliminate the 3% service fee for use of credit card. Rivard is a large customer and is not paying that rate to the CC companies. Passing that on to your customers is a poor decision and really disrespectful. It will impact my decisions to continue to patronize your establishment. Fix it!

The only issue I had was not with Jake but with the dealership selling the truck that I had put a deposit on. This should not happen, as the deposit is a contractual agreement for that vehicle but besides that love the truck! Thank you.

This was probably the best experience I've had at a car dealership ever. Our salesman Scott Smith was excellent. He knew all about the Sierra 1500 and was very pleasant. The starting price on the car(2025 Buick Envista Sport Touring) was the best I found. Did not have to haggle at all. The purchase was completely done before I actually stepped onsite or saw the car. When I showed up the car was ready. I spent 5 minutes with Harold getting my CarPlay and OnStar set up, and was out the door. By far the best car buying experience I've ever had.

I worked with Ronell on the purchase of my car and he was very easy to work with and very patient with my questions and my indecisions. He did not pressure me or rush me and gave me time to consider my choices and make a decision. The actual buying experience was easier than I anticipated as well. I was not pressured to purchase a bunch of add ons that many salesmen push on the customer. Over all a very good experience.

Left the car while on vacation. Rather than fixing it you all just left it in the lot and then were backup when I returned. The communication was poor. Spoke to a manger who promised action. But never called me back. The main problem that was happening was ignored until the very end and never fixed Have had good experiences in the past but not good at all this time. Seems like you all are too busy to care

2025 yukon i ordered with Brembo brakes upgrade. The brakes were on back order but were installed this week. This process started rocky but ended well. As a business owner myself I appreciate good service but also see weak points where maybee upper management has let items lack due to multiple factors. First and foremost Jeff my service advisor is wonderful. I am not sure if he knew the backstory to this situation. But he handled my vehicle with expertise and a non confrontational attitude. The curly haired blondish younger lady next to him not so much. Pure attitude excudes from her. But she wasnt my advisor but thought you should know. My first experience with my crooked exhaust. Those team members, I can't speak so nicely about. To this date, I've never received a follow-up email from the sales manager or parts manager. But Rick, the service manager addressed this. My only other constructive criticism is. When you call the client to schedule the expectation was set at 4 hours to install the brakes. I questioned the receptionist due to me driving from out of town. She called me back and said yes, 4 hours. I said I will need a loaner car because I needed to be at a job-site. The loaner was not a problem, which I truly appreciate. Now the part that needs work. The brake job took a day and a 1/2. I was allowed to keep the loner car due to me being 2.5 hours away. But there times that the job is not what is in the books for standard man hours. Maybe this was the first timethe technicians installed Brembo brakes. I'm not sure, but with the additional day it took to complete the job you possiblely set yourself up for loss revenue and a bad review. But again, Jeff, my service advisor was wonderful. He handled the situation. I made it clear I would need to drive the loaner home and without hesitation he said it was no big deal.

Everything was great, until it was time to take delivery. The truck was in detailing, but they had not started on it. When the finally finished, Scott got the truck and went to fuel it up but the fuel system was down. Because of a previous scheduled vet appointment for my cat I had to depart. So I ended up getting about 6 minutes of orientation on the truck and no fuel.

Wait time for oil change has gotten very long, I'm tempted to start using my local auto shop unfortunately. Added on an alignment since they said it was needed and could get it done same day. I typically plan on being there for 2-3 hrs, but no snacks, lunch or vehicle for almost 5 hours a little frustrating. Dropped car off at 9:30 for 10:30 appt and didn't leave until 2pm and still did not have an alignment done.

Haley was great to deal with and the financial side was fast and easy.

Truck was considered to be new 2025. However, the truck was missing items standard on the vehicle, almost like this truck was used to cannabilize parts for other trucks. Truck part pieces were left on the seat. Parts of the truck had deep scratch. Had to work with salesman to fix components, doing some of the work myself. I left the dealership worrying if I am missing any other parts, especially those that affect my safety. Asked for some kind of comp. for all the setbacks but shot down at every turn.

I brought my car in on March 3rd and had several things repaired on it. I was told that several parts had to be ordered. As on Apr 15, the parts have not come in. I picked up my car yesterday and the problem has still not been resolved

I contacted the dealership about several trucks and worked with Meagan. She was incredibly responsive and helpful. We ended up reserving a truck that had everything I needed. She made the process very painless and quick. After we reserved the truck she passed me over to Jake to work with while the truck was being finished and shipped. He was also incredible to work with and took all the stress out of the waiting and finalization of the sale. It was the best truck buying experience I have ever had. I will definitely be recommending the dealership and especially Meagan and Jake.

Great experience and terrific sales associate, Valden Benavidez. The process was smooth and absolutely not stressful. Valden was very knowledgeable about the vehicle and went out of his way to get the car we wanted from another dealership, as they had previously sold the one we had seen advertised on their website. Valden Benavidez took over for Harold, who did not show up for our appointment. Valden was friendly and easy to deal with. He didn't try to renegotiate the deal that was previously made between Harold/Megan and me. If I or my wife decide to by a GMC or Buick, we will contact Valden directly. We had to search and search for the vehicle across numerous storage lots and then drive it to the wash/detail shop. The exterior of the truck should have been cleaned better than it was. It looked like they rushed to get it done so that I could take it home. It should have been properly cleaned and sitting in front of the dealership when I arrived for my appointment.

Don't really like being greeted by the glass repair people trying to sell me something I don't need. Scheduling is difficult if not impossible through the app or website and to take advantage of service specials need to book through the website to print the coupon. Also think the 3% credit card surcharge is ridiculous especially when using the GM card. The service prices are already above market and a 3% surcharge is not called for.

I had to come back a second day after the 3 and a half hours I spent the day prior was only long enough to get a tire rotation and fuel filter change. None of the scheduled recall work was done. I had my truck serviced and recall items fixed and some things looked at on my paint warranty. My truck was washed and waxed before I dropped it off and when I got it back it was very dirty. Rather disappointed

I met a new (to me) service writer that surely understands customer service. Soft spoken, Iowa Nice, great listener, attention to detail, and calm in a caotic atmosphere. He was never on the phone while I was there, and understood how to use the systems in place to speed me though. Service Writers are so important, and Jeff Bockhoven is one of the best I have ever found.

Scott Smith was awesome, but because the manager would not move off of his offer on our trade we ended having to make 2 trips and we live 100 miles away. I don’t like that they will only honor a quote on a trade from Carmax. That quote was $2000 less than True Car and CARFAX showed as the trade value. Scott was able to finally get us more for our trade, but still not what I think we should have gotten. Over all if I were just rating Scott, this would be a 5 star

i had an appointment at 10am. I was out by 1pm. Three hours to drive around the block to tell me there wasn't anything wrong with my car and then charged me $200.00. A little steep I thought. Will that be a normal charge each time I come in? Then another thing that I needed done, a $30 part (my son is a mechanic) and that was going to cost $313 with labor...in addition to the diagnostic test. Too rich for my blood. And that was with an extended warranty.

It is a little concerning that I got a warning that the oil was low in my 2023 truck, especially with the oil life being 69%, there not being any signs of a leak, and when checked was actually down 2 quarts. However the service technician was very nice and knowledgeable. The service department performed an oil change and I will bring the truck back after driving it 1,000 miles to do an oil consumption test. My current belief is that they will find the cause and it will be fixed. This is my 7th GM vehicle purchased and they have all been reliable and well built.

The issue is I'm from out of town and trying to get answers through messages and calls is tough. Speaking to a person about a vehicle that I was interested in and then they are off the next day so I have to talk to someone else and figure out what I needed to do in order to get this truck. Luckily I was able to put a deposit on it and drove 4 hours and bought the truck I was wanting. Thanks for having the vehicle that I wanted.

I arrived on a Saturday morning to purchase a new Sierra 1500. I had a preapproval of 65k with a 2015 Silverado 1500 with 82000 miles on it. Finding a truck in my price range should have been easy, to my surprise it was a chaotic mess. I informed the salesman that I wanted a 1500 with a 6.2L crew cab, 4x4 and be at or under 65k with my trade. 5 sets of keys were checked out and into a vehicle to search for the trucks we went. 2 of the trucks could not be found the other three took 1.5hours to locate. Two of the trucks were AT4’s which were listed on the website as standard AT4’s selling for approximately 62k, but again to my surprise one of them had been uplifted with the ALC Z92 package, the other was was still being located. Curious about the ride I asked the salesman to test drive the uplifted truck. When we finished the test drive I asked the salesman to write up 3 vehicles so I could compare the out the door pricing. I was not overly fond of the lifted truck and told the salesman that I ultimately wanted the non lifted AT4. After about another hour of locating that truck the salesman said that truck had been lifted as well, again was not mentioned on the website. At this point I was becoming frustrated as my sale should have been pretty simple. I informed the salesman that the website showed the SLT on their lot and if it were I would purchase that truck. After some more time the salesman did inform that the truck was on the lot but needed a pre-delivery inspection and detail and would likely be ready the next day. I agreed and came home. A few moments later I received a phone call stating the truck would be ready same day because it had already received a pre-delivery inspection from its previous dealer. I drove back to the dealership to sign the documents for the truck. After signing the documents and receiving the keys to the new truck the salesman did inform was concluded with an “I’m sorry, I know the paperwork said it had 5 miles but it actually has 142 miles.” Extremely frustrated at this point after spending nearly 9 hours purchasing a vehicle with a check in my hand I drove the truck home. The next morning when I looked at the vehicle I noticed it still had packing residue on the most of the chrome accessories and that 3 of the drop in bed liner covers were missing along with the plate bezel which was loose in the bed. I went on the site the next morning trying to locate the number and what do I see as featured vehicle, the same lifted AT4 now selling for 84k. The previous morning the salesman wrote up a contract for 62k. I’m wondering how that would have went once it got to the financing department. The white AT4 that she stated as being uplifted is still showing a 62k price with no mention of an uplift. To put a bow on the professionalism at this dealership while I was on the property it was not uncommon to see staff smoking at the front door, on their cell phones almost giving cold shoulders to would be buyers, and horseplay. I do not think I would be incorrect in stating that it is usually an older crowd that chooses GMC over Chevy. You’d think it would feel like a more respectable experience, especially when spending 60k plus on a vehicle. I’m wondering if I should have visited the Chevy dealer across the street.

Extremely easy transaction. Custom order of 2025 GMS Seirra 2500HD AT4X due to limited supply. Rivard and my salesman, Brandon Coratti, made it super smooth. All documentation and signing was performed online. I was only at the dealership for 30 mins to pick up the truck and 15 of that was with OnStar on the phone setting it up. Highly recommend!

I had a great experience at Rivard. My sales associate (Joe Auddette) was fanatastic, personable, friendly and was willing to help me in the purchase of my 2025 Buick Enclave Preferred. He was willing to work with me to the get to the payments that was comfortable for me and was very attentive while waiting for paper work to be complete and was willing to answer any questions that I had. The only down side I had was after the signing of the papers which ended at 4:00 PM I had to wait for the detail department get the car detailed. Was told that they were working with half the individual that they normally have. The sales associate would go down and help them with getting my car to me as soon as possible and finally at 6:45PM Joe brought me the vehicle. (2:45 mintues after the closing of the sales). Joe would check on me every chance he got to be sure if I needed anything, Other than the long wait for the car to be detailed ( no fault of the sales associate) and I know there are times company runs shorthanded. So my overall experience with Rivard Buick GMC dealership was excellent and I definitely would recommend them to family and friends. I would also recommend Joe Auddette as their sales associate.
